Pál Völner

Charged in a major corruption case for allegedly taking regular bribes from the head of the bailiffs' chamber in exchange for arranging appointments and state favours. His case is one of the rare instances where the Hungarian prosecution actually pursued a Fidesz-connected official, likely because the evidence was overwhelming. He resigned his parliamentary seat and left Fidesz after the allegations became public.
