Gábor Gönczi

Co-host of TV2's "Tények", a flagship government propaganda programme that airs smear pieces against the opposition. He participated in 2018 and 2022 campaign videos explicitly announcing he would vote for Orbán and urging viewers to do the same, leading to multi-million forint election-law fines against TV2. He recently took part in Orbán-linked Digital Civic Circles (DPK), further blurring the line between news journalism and party campaigning. His conduct is a textbook example of the complete abandonment of editorial independence in public affairs journalism.
